Join Ayurvedic Practitioner Kalee Mund at South Moon Yoga Studio for an interactive, hand’s on learning experience. Learn the in’s and out’s of Ayurvedic nutrition, food combining, qualities of the seasons, the 6 tastes that inspire and heal and how our spices can be our medicine chest to health. This class will be focused on seasonal health and how to stay strong and balanced during the change of seasons and all year long. We will learn together & cook together, sharing an Ayurvedic meal at the end of the class. Everyone will take home a booklet with an abundance of information on seasonal eating, healing properties of spices & recipes.

Kalee’s passion lies in the alchemy of blending Ayurveda into the Western world through cooking, teaching, bodywork and the love for healthy living in alignment with the constant change of Mother Earth’s elements. Kalee began studying Ayurveda in 2010 with Kerala Ayurveda Academy, where she got her Ayurvedic Counsellors Certificate & recently completed her Panchakarma Technician Certification. She received an Ayurvedic Bodywork Certification from the Sivananda Center, where she learned & practiced the ancient techniques of Ayurvedic body treatments & continued her education in Ayurveda to include Ayurvedic Postpartum Care & Women’s Health. Kalee has gained further experience & knowledge of both Eastern & Western Herbology through managing & apprenticing at Hollow Reed Holistic with Master Herbalist Chad Cornell. Kalee sees the importance of incorporating Ayurveda into our daily lives to spark the healing capacity we all hold within ourselves to prevent dis-ease in our bodies & minds.
