Nature kids Camp
For Ages 4-9
Summer is a time for adventure, exploration and connecting to the wonders of nature!
Join us for a day of fun that will combine games, art, creative movement, mindfulness activities, trail hikes and more!
We will be hiking, playing, and inquiring into the natural world outside our doorstep! We will be creating awareness and investigating into diversity, adaptation, interdependence, cycles, and change in the natural world around us through age appropriate activities, games and earth art.
We aim to grow a love, passion, appriciation and understanding for our natural environment while having fun outside

$70 for two children

Camp runs rain or shine. We will meet at Falcon Beach School and begin our adventures from there, spending the majority of the day outside. Please send your child with appropriate clothing and shoes, sunscreen, hat, lunch and a snack, water bottle and a change of clothes for just incase
Important Note: This is a peanut free event. Please do not send any snack or lunch items with nuts
Meet Your Camp Counselors:
Lindsay Johnson is a passionate teacher who has been living and teaching overseas for the last 13 years, always returning to West Hawk for the summers. She has been teaching the Primary Years Program for the International Baccalaureate Organization, an inquiry based curriculum, at highly regarded International Schools. Her teaching passion is connecting her students to nature, bringing the classroom outside and bringing mindfulness into the day. She is currently pursuing her Masters in EcoPsychology and her certification to be a Nature and Forest Schools teacher.
Chrissy Sie-Merritt has been teaching Art to children of all ages for over 15 years and Yoga for 11 years. She is the founder of South Moon Studio and runs classes, workshops and camps for all ages, year round. Chrissy is passionate about bringing the natural world into our day to day life and weaving the teachings of nature into all her classes. She is currently working towards her Degree in EcoPsychology and her Certificate in Eco Art Therapy
